Labor Day... By far one of the most BBQ-ed holiday, second to maybe 4th of July. This is about the time when Grill sets get washed down, cleaned, covered and stored away for the fall and winter months, to be revived again in late spring. Well not me, I have the privilege of living in sunny California, and for me grilling is year round. I have on occasion Grilled in the rain and even snow. The best meats to cook during the fall and winter season are heartier, gamier meats, such as venison, lamb or turkey. As the weather gets cooler, the grill will take longer to reach temperature and will loose it's heat faster, so don't open it too often. Here is my favorite way to prepare grilled lamb chops. 12 to 16 pieces of lamb chops marinate it with olive oil, salt, pepper, dried mint. Let it sit for couple of hours and put it on hot grill. 5 minutes on each side and medium is the way I like it. Enjoy and don't let a little rain dampen your grilling.
